Games will come in of different primary extensions: a .zip archive, a .exe executable or a .msi package.

1. Extract the zip archive, if your game is in a .zip archive file. Double-click it to reveal the contents. If there is an installer file inside (typically called “setup.exe”) then install it as if it were a .exe file. Alternatively, if the main game file is in the archive, click and drag it to the desktop to install it there
2. Install an executable. Typically this will be called “setup.exe.” Double-click it and then follow the onscreen instructions to complete setup
3. Install the .msi package. These act much like executables, but are packaged slightly differently. Double-clicking the package will launch a setup program. Follow the onscreen instructions to install the game.
