do you know with the latest Bluetooth products. as has been explained on site jabra.com. Jabra has recently released a trifecta of Bluetooth products that may very well be the 3 best products they have produced

• The Jabra Wave
• The Jabra Cruiser 2
• The Jabra Easy Call

I have reviewed pretty much all that Jabra has to offer over the last two years, and recently crossing two columns.

Once unboxed, all three Bluetooth devices were charged for a recommended first time charge. Each device was paired with three different phones/players; The iPhone 4, Blackberry Curve and the iPod Touch 2g.

Each Bluetooth device paired in under 10 seconds with each device. One quality all three have (which is ingenious) is the ability to have 2 devices connected. Like me, if you have one business and one personal phone, this is a god send.

The first device put through the rigourous “I talk too much” test was the Jabra Wave. It is ambidextrous, but I chose to wear it on the right ear, as it was replacing another Jabra product that was made for the right ear only. It is a very light ear piece, which makes one forgetful that it is on. Answering calls, hanging up, flash, etc are all done by a simple press on the mouth piece.

The one standout feature to this headset (even other top of the line Jabra products) is its resistance to sound distortion due to an included wind sock that goes over the mic. It is so good that even with the windows down, and going highway speeds, my voice was 85-90 % clear to the caller on the other end. That is such an improvement, as wind disturbance has long been a problem for Bluetooth junkies.

The second new product from Jabra is the Easy call. Like its wind resistant cousin, it is easy to wear, easy to use and easy to not notice its there. Oh yea, it’s easy to call with too. The call clarity is as good, no, actually better than any wired headset could ever do. It allows for voice commands as well. A simple tap on the button tells you your battery level.

Lastly in this great trifecta is the Jabra Cruiser 2. Having reviewed both the Cruiser and Freeway (both top ratings) it was great to see how they could improve on two top of the line Bluetooth speakers. Well they did. The made it sleeker, easier to pair and gave it a great long lasting talk time.

Install was a no brainer; clip it to your visor. Once you power it on, you can actually toss the manyal aside, as it walks you through pairing.  I haven’t come close to the 14 hr allowed talk time (although close). I was blown away however by the call clarity. As one who drives anywhere from 150-500+ miles, whether the window(s) was/were open or closed, the call was clear, and distortion was minimized.

Jabra has long since been a pioneer in Bluetooth technology and with each new release, they keep earning that title.
